The Kelty Yellowstone 2 is an easy to set-up economical 3-season tent built to weather years in the field. Setting up this free-standing tent isn’t quite as simple as flipping a switch, but the pole clips are nearly as quick when attaching them to the two Fiberglass poles. The design is roomy, creating a comfortable living space to stretch out in after a long day of hiking. The mesh ceiling and the side vents provides ample ventilation. Taped seams keep water out in case the clouds open up, and internal storage pockets organize essentials like socks and non-essentials like harmonicas.

“Great buy! Easy tent to set up, good ventilation with the rain fly attached. Simple tent structure, but perfect for moderate campers like me. Not too big, not too small, really with enough room for two people. A wonderful tent.”

“If you are really into high wind, hard core camping by yourself or with your very small spouse this is a good tent for you. We bought this for our 2 small kids (5 and 6 years old) so they could have their own space while camping at a campsite. The thing is tiny. TINY. Even my 5 year old couldn’t stand up in it. We put an airbed in it and it was absurd looking. You wouldn’t believe how small it is. We set it up in the living room, stood back and just looked at eachother. Now the kids didn’t mind and the tent is high quality for the price but if you need a little elbow room then pass on this one.”
